Looks like we are moving again... Our friends moved out of their house, here in Los Gatos, and we have been wanting to move into a house for some time now. We miss our old house in Willow Glen and I would love to have a garden again. Not to mention, laundry facilities in our house (no more collecting quarters...yipee!). So when the opportunity opened up, we took it. We'll be moving about 2 miles down the road in mid-June.

For Earth Day weekend, Dave and I drove up to San Francisco to visit Pier 39 and Aquarium of the Bay.
The Pier was a bit windy, but beautiful. The Pier was also celebrating EarthFest and we checked out a few of the booths and the local Aquarium. The tunnel under the San Francisco Bay was a great experience and very surreal. Here are a few pics:


Yesterday, I walked 6.25 miles for March For Babies and accomplished my goal of completing the walk. Although, I did trip and fall about a 1/4 mile from the finish line and scraped my knee up a bit and twisted my ankle, which has not helpful with my busy schedule today. I'm now sitting on the couch with my foot up on ice. Hopefully it will heal soon. Anyway, here are a couple pics from the walk:

I can't believe I have no pics, but my friend Deirdre from Vegas was in town this weekend and I spent some time with her. We had a great time catching up!!

Last weekend, Dave and I drove up to Napa Valley for Sonoma's Film Festival and a little wine tasting. We enjoyed walking around Downtown Sonoma on a beautiful spring day and catch a movie as the sun set. Check out their website at: Sonoma Film Festival for more information.

Saturday night, we stayed at my brother's house and were pleasantly surprised to see our friends, Natalie and Paul and catch up, because we hadn't seen them in a couple of years. Paul and Natalie will be getting married this August in the Napa Valley. Congratulations!!! Here's a pic of the 3 of them.

...and on Sunday, I picked up my niece in my new car and we went for a drive to pick up brunch.
I can't explain how great it was to continuously look back at my niece and see her smiling really big and enjoying the sun and wind on her face. Gotta love her ;) Here are a couple pics of my beautiful niece, Emily:

Again, it's been awhile since I last posted and as usual, I've been busy. The week before last, I traveled down to LA for work and met up with a few friends.
On Saturday night, I met up with my friend, Trisha, for dinner at the Geisha House in Hollywood. I thought we saw Shawn Michael Scott (Stiffler from American Pie) at a table near us, but not 100% sure it was him. Same mannerisms, but not the same smile. Sunday, I met up with my friend, Denise. I was very happy to see both of them again! My hotel was about 2 blocks away from where we lived in Studio City, so it was great to be back in my ol' stomping grounds again too. Odd...but while I was in LA this time, I didn't have my normal cravings to take pictures of everything in sight and relied solely on my friends to take pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my friends and co-workers, while I was there.

Last weekend (April 5th) Dave's best friend, Dan, and my good friend, Jenni, both celebrated birthdays and I wish them both a very Happy Birthday!

And last, but definitely not least...CHECK OUT ME AND MY NEW CAR! It's a convertible and those of you, who are long time friends, know I've been wanting a convertible since I flunked my first two driving tests, when I was 16. I'm looking forward to taking my niece for a drive along the coast with the top down, just like my Aunt did with me when I was young. Thanks Dan! Now it's time to put the 89 Honda Prelude out to pasture...

Last weekend, Dave and I drove up to Mendocino County for his birthday. I'd never been to Mendocino and Dave had been once, and loved it. Words cannot explain what a beautiful area of California this is. You really have to experience it for yourself to understand. I'd recommend visiting when the weather is good too!!

Over the last 2 months, I had a few health issues, which included Montezuma's Revenge, a severe toothache, which resulted in a root canal and over the last few days I lost my voice due to laryngitis and trying to do it all. Thus the reason for my delay on posting to my blog.

Although, I did find time to venture out to a few important events.

My niece turned 7 years old on February 26th and celebrated her birthday the weekend after. Here are a few pics from the Celebration:

I volunteered as a Theater Manager for Cinequest from February 27th through March 9th this year. As I do every time I volunteer for Cinequest, I sit down after it's all over and wonder why I worked so many long hours and what possessed me to give up so much of my free time, then I look back at pictures (like the ones below) and remember all the great people I met and the up and coming filmmakers of tomorrow...and remember why I love it and keep coming back!
