Tell me it's not can't be over.
What has happened to America?
I know he's an American, White Male...but they aren't all that bad. Are they? Here's the bad news: John Edwards is giving up his campaign for US president . Now who am I going to vote for? Hilary is going to be here in San Jose this Friday...I guess I'll check her out.

I was invited by my friend, Darla, to join her on a trip to Cabo to celebrate her friend, DD’s 30 + 10 Birthday from January 23rd to January 27th. I am now back in Los Gatos, CA and am updating my blog.

This time I decided to write my Pros and Cons of the trip and upload a few pics. For more pictures visit the Flickr icon on the right side of this page.

Pros (not in any special order)
Great Weather (as opposed to back home), Met New Friends, Hung out with Old Friends, Lots of Dancing, Luxurious Pool, Laid out by the pool and Swam to the Bar, Fun Parties, Food, Drinks, Beautiful Scenery and Celebrating DD’s Birthday!

Near Arrest (not me), Money, Missed my hubby, Didn’t Whale Watch, Swim with the Dolphins, Jet Ski or Travel in a boat…and why you ask? Because of the food! I had food poisoning (Montezuma’s Revenge) from Friday until the end of our trip.
All in all a great trip and my first time in Cabo!
So, here are the Pics:

I'll be removing the pics up on top near the end of this month. Please don't forget to check out (for movies) and (Chronicles of my plight to get healthy in 2008).

Alright, one more quick blog...
They also say there are no celebrities in the Bay Area. Yeah right, I saw these two celebrities live just this week:
Richard Dreyfuss
Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl- Blaire Waldorf)
Just a quick blog/plug to promote a Play, my cousin Kristina is Directing, down in LA. I wish I was down there to see it. I'll definitely try...I have a few more weeks. It closes on March 8th.
Here's the website for The $4 Million Dollar Giveway

I'll be heading off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico this week for my friend's 30th (or 40th) birthday, so the posts will be minimal for a week or so...

So...finally I'm ready to give you my second and most important New Years Resolution, here it is: You can also visit the site anytime by connecting to the link at the top of this page.
Today, I went to MacWorld and had a great time. I also saw Richard Dreyfus. I would have taken a picture with him, but he seemed involved with his conversation for quite some time and I didn't want to interrupt him. Here's a pic with him in it (see if you can find him in the pic):
( 3rd person in from the right with the black suit on)
Here's a few more pics:

(symbollic? Microsoft show is empty)
Now I'm sitting down after a long day of work and MacWorld. I started catching up on my email and noticed my horoscope for today. I found these words to not only be true of my day’s scenario, but also good words of wisdom. Check it out:
Your Horoscope for JANUARY 15, 2008 (Birthday July 26th)
If you find that things aren't working so well for you on an outer plane, you might want to try turning the situation around and looking at things from more of an inner perspective, CHERI. Perhaps the events of the day aren't exactly going as well as you had planned. Perhaps people aren't cooperating as you might have liked them to. Before you get upset with the action on the outside, first take a look at what might be causing some tension on the inside.
Hmmm...tension on the inside?

I know…they all say it. New Years Resolutions never, if rarely, stick. I agree for the most part, but I’ve recently given up a bad habit and now know I have the will power and commitment to stick with these (2) New Years Resolutions.
My first resolution is to cut down on the gossiping.
1 adialect British :
godparent b: companion crony c: a person who habitually reveals personal or sensational facts about others2 a: rumor or report of an intimate nature b: a chatty talk c: the subject matter of gossip

If you know me at all, you know that I have an issue with gossip. Or should I say…had an issue? I strongly believe I’ve cut down on it, but will work harder to completely eliminate gossiping from my repertoire. I was recently accused of gossiping and thought I’d improved over the last year or two, but obviously not. I think my mistake may be calling it “venting” or my opinion on someone’s immoral behavior, as opposed to considering my chatty talk…gossiping.

One of my guilty pleasures is watching a TV show called, “Gossip Girl” (a girl has to get her fix somewhere). Check out the
Gossip Girl Blog for more info. Anyway, I was watching an interview with the cast members and found these comments about gossip to be a bit revealing:
1) The word gossip carries so much with it…it’s like a guilty pleasure
2) Gossip…that’s what everyone thrives on
3) Everyone loves it but hates it at the same time
4) It’s addicting and you have to keep finding out whatever’s next
5) It sets you up for a lot of drama

So the moral of the story is...please let me know if you catch me gossiping and tell me to stop right away ;)
I hung out with a few friends last night and had a great time. Check out my pics on my Flickr site on the left side bar of this blog. Oh, also check out the pics above. If you Refresh your browser, you'll see a different set of ten. My second Resolution will be updated in the next couple of days.

My New Years Resolutions will be in the next post, but here are a few pics from my New Years 2008...

I was cleaning up the kitchen table to prepare for dinner on New Years Eve and thought this picture was the perfect example of my Year 2007, so I took the opportunity to snap a pic.

As always...Stay tuned for more!
