Take a look at this ticket...

It's my ticket from the American Idol Finale (night before)!!! I drove down to LA last Monday night, stayed over my friend, Trisha's place and then we both headed over to the Nokia Theater to stand in line on Tuesday for the Live show. The drive was long and standing in line for over 5 hours in the hot sun was a bit grueling, but sooo WORTH IT!!

We also met some cool people and watched the Rehearsal too! We were not able to bring cell phones or cameras into the theater, but here are some pics from outside:

Check out my Vlog at cherithomas.com for the Finale video. All in all a good week! Now we're getting ready to move from an apartment to a house in the same city over the next couple of weeks, so my posts will be limited for the next few weeks. Hope ya'll are doing well and Happy Memorial Day!

Looks like we are moving again... Our friends moved out of their house, here in Los Gatos, and we have been wanting to move into a house for some time now. We miss our old house in Willow Glen and I would love to have a garden again. Not to mention, laundry facilities in our house (no more collecting quarters...yipee!). So when the opportunity opened up, we took it. We'll be moving about 2 miles down the road in mid-June.
Here's a pic of our new place:
Check out this pic of my niece, Emily, (snapped by Dave) on the beach in Capitola last weekend.

I also enjoyed hanging out and catching up with friends and family, as you'll see from these pics...

Congratulations to my cousins, Alicea and Josh, on the birth of their new son, Adrian Willis Lybarger!! Adrian was born May 1st, 2008.

Normally, I put all my videos on my Vlog at Cheri's Video Blog , but more people come to this site, so I'm posting it here, as well. Dave edited this short video a couple of years ago, but it still applies today:
