SmileyCentral.comWOO HOO!! Today is a very special day! Do you know what today is? Alright, I know...you give up...It's the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of my first blog...August 29th, 2006!!

Talk about alot of changes in one year! I've traveled all over the US, changed jobs and back again, met new friends and family, hung with ol' friends and family, moved to LA and back to the Bay Area, been televised, sat in the audience for a few award shows (People's Choice and SAG Awards), seen 100s of celebrities, celebrated holidays and birthdays, went to my 20 year high school reunion, watched my niece grow up, and most of all...love my husband even more than I did last year!
SmileyCentral.com Hopefully, next year I'll have even bigger news...maybe an addition to the family (wink, wink).

And this last weekend, I also spent some time with more friends and family. Here are a couple of pics:
Emily at Miniature Golf (Saturday)
Dave Bowling for Chuck's Birthday (Saturday)
Tyler, Jenni, Me, Elise and Haley (Sunday)
It's going to be a much slower weekend this Labor Day Weekend, as I could use a break from all the driving back and forth from Fairfield to San Jose and work (it is Labor Day and all). Hopefully, we will find a place near San Jose soon, as it's not super fun living out of a suitcase :(
Oh ya, also, if you've read this far into my blog...do me a favor and leave me a comment. Haven't had one in awhile, but I know at least 50 people a week check out my blog :) If anything, I hope I am entertaining you a bit. Ciao for now!

Whew, this must have been the busiest 2 weeks in my life. It's difficult to explain how much I have been through and done in the last 2 weeks in just one blog, but I'll try ;) To begin, two weeks ago I hung out with my brother, niece and husband for a full 2 day weekend (mainly my niece). My niece and I started with a fun trip to Miniature Golfing on Friday night, then Saturday morning we went to get pedicures, then on Sunday we went to the Napa County Fair...and all of these things were first's for my niece, which obviously made the weekend even better. Here are a few pics of our weekend:

Then, of course, I worked during the week, but also caught up with my friends, Darla, Jenni and Katie during the evenings and maybe a few more friends, but I can't recall offhand. On Thursday night, my company had a going away party for our previous CEO, and I had such a blast. Here are a few pics (please note, I dropped my camera at this event, so the pics are not the best quality):

Gosh, I love being back at this company!! Great people...I can't believe I ever left and soo happy they took me back with open arms.

Okay, then we move to Friday afternoon when my friend, Denise, from Minnesota flew in to hang with me for my 20th High School Reunion on Saturday night. So, Friday night was Girls Night Out! A few of the 'ol high school gang all got together...otherwise known as the "blondes" (back in school) and went out for a night on the town. Here are a few pics of our night (bought a new camera for these pics):
Lynn, Denise, Darla, Rushelle and Tanya- I replaced Darla in this one

No comment on this pic...someone stole my camera (wink, wink)
On Saturday night, Denise and I stayed at the San Jose Hilton, which is where my 20th High School Reunion was held. We had a blast, although there were a few mishaps, which I don't want to reveal to the entire world, so you'll have to ask me offline. Let's just say...friends come first! But the good news is...I received an apology from one of my elementary school classmates, because he used to make fun of me for sucking my fingers (the two middle fingers on my left hand) until the 6th grade. That was great to hear, because I think that's a small part of what led to my self-consciousness and addiction issues. I just couldn't let go of the "thumbsucking"! Anyway, it was great to see some old faces and I'll always have the memories. I didn't take too many pics, but here is one pic:

And last, but definitely not least...on Sunday, Dave and I celebrated our 2 year Wedding Anniversary with an afternoon trip to Napa, dinner and a showing of Bourne Ultimatum that night. Believe it or not, we also saw Alec Baldwin at the Louis Martini Winery too. Here are a few pics:
Taco Bell and Wine...nothing better!

Welp, that's it for now. I have another friend visiting from out of town this weekend, so more pics and blogs to come.

Hi Blog Viewers, I want to apologize for my delay in posting, but plan to update my blog really soon. I've been working, catching up with all my friends back home and visiting with some who traveled here from abroad for the past few weeks and with all that, I'm still trying to settle back in the Bay Area. Yesterday was Dave and my 2 year Wedding anniversary and we are going strong!

Here's Part Two of our move back home...
Last Friday, we packed up the truck and moved back to the Bay Area. It was a long trip, to say the least, but worth the drive. We landed at my brother's at about 1am and went to bed. Then on Saturday, we unpacked. My mom arrived around noon, and my niece shortly thereafter. A few hours later my friend, Tanya, and her family came by. Check out some of the pics from our day together:

Aww, it's great to be home :) And no worries, I'll keep updating the site, because I'll never slow down...

Goodbye Hollywood Sad
And hello friends and family SmileyCentral.com
Well, Dave and I are somewhat settled in the Bay Area now and life is moving along. I miss some things about LA (definitely not the traffic), but now that I'm back I realize I missed my friends and family the most. Dave and I both grew up here and it just feels way too good to be back home! Although, we are gypsies at the moment until we find a place a little closer to San Jose. We are temporarily staying with my brother in Fairfield (near Napa) and commuting back to San Jose. During the week, I'm staying with my great friend, Darla, who is much closer to my job.
Since I left off on the last blog, we've visited with many of our family members and friends. To begin, Dave and I met up with my cousins, Kristina and her husband for a drink and had a great time catching up, but not so great saying, "goodbye". We will definitely keep in touch though. I also visited with my friend, Denise, for a nice birthday dinner on Sunday.
Then the following Wednesday my mother-in-law (Joyce) visited with us for our last two days in LA. It's been another odd dream of mine to go on a guided tour of Celebrity houses in the Hollywood Hills and Joyce helped me fulfill this dream. It was everything I hoped it would be and very relaxing after a day of packing. Here's a couple of pics from our tour:

The house Benson (TV show from the 70's) was taped

And this tree is a very famous tree, as it was the tree Lindsay Lohan hit when she "allegedly" drank and drove back in December of 2006.
I have a ton more pictures of the day, but am not able to recall who actually owned any of the houses. When we arrived back at the Mann's Chinese Theatre, we walked across the street for a very nice dinner at the infamous Roosevelt Hotel in the middle of Hollywood. All in all a great way to end our time in LA.
I hate to cut this blog short, because I have so much more to write, but need to get to bed...it's a work night. I'll definitely add more tomorrow. Good night!
